On January 22nd, 2022 at around 6:45pm, officers were dispatched to the area of Johnson and the railroad tracks for an accident 
involving a pedestrian. When officers arrived, they searched the area and found nothing, so they moved to the next crossing at Hale Street. In that area, a body was located and identified as Ronnie Knighten of Osceola. An investigation into the circumstances surrounding the incident is still ongoing. The thoughts and prayers of the Osceola Police Department are with the family, friends, and loved ones of Mr. Knighten during this time.
