The purpose of the Osceola Historic District is to see to it that the appeal and integrity of the district remain true to its historic past. We coordinate with property owners and work together to keep the district in ideal condition, often assisting with grants or other resources to help ensure that things get done.
There are certain guidelines to the district, including but not limited to the color palette for a storefront, restrictions on what can and cannot be painted, and signage size and placement. For businesses in the district that would like to make improvements to their buildings, please download both the Design Guidelines (which includes the review procedures and steps) and the Application for Certificate of Appropriateness form below, fill out, and return to the district.
